June Crespo's Workshop on Contemporary Sculpture in Granada

June Crespo is set to lead an intensive encounter centered on material processes and contemporary sculptural practice, taking place from July 27 to July 30.
Recognized as one of Spain’s most internationally prominent sculptors, Crespo will share her rigorous artistic methodology, guiding participants through a profound exploration of the physical and conceptual dimensions of three-dimensional form. This specialized workshop will foster critical reflection on material transformation and the crucial dialogue between artist and medium.
This significant event is presented as a cornerstone of the twenty-sixth edition of the Becas ALRASO artistic residency, which runs throughout July in the municipality of El Valle, Granada. Organized by the University of Granada’s Faculty of Fine Arts, in collaboration with the Diputación de Granada and the Ayuntamiento de El Valle, ALRASO has consolidated itself as a vital initiative for decentralized cultural activity. The residency is a reference space for training, creation, and cultural exchange, connecting emerging contemporary artists with the local rural environment and institutional support.
